OUR STORY
The Beginning
Turri India was born from a profound love for India's rich textile traditions and a vision to create a bridge between master artisans and conscious consumers. What started as a personal quest to discover authentic handcrafted fabrics has blossomed into a platform that celebrates India's textile heritage while empowering the skilled hands behind each creation.
Our founder,Rani Reetuja, grew up surrounded by the vibrant colors and intricate patterns of Indian textiles. Witnessing the decline of traditional crafts and the struggles faced by artisan communities, she felt compelled to create a platform that would not only showcase these beautiful fabrics but also ensure fair compensation and recognition for the craftspeople who create them.

The Heart of Turri India
Behind every fabric we offer are the skilled hands and creative minds of India's master artisans. We work with over 50 artisan families across 10 different states, from the silk weavers of Varanasi to the block printers of Rajasthan, from the cotton weavers of Bengal to the embroiderers of Lucknow.
